Eating a hearty breakfast can help you lose weight, according to science

The search for a healthy life is for many a tortuous and difficult way to find, but thanks to research, scientists have been able to reveal that the key to losing weight could be in an abundant breakfast. Find out why.

Scientists say that eating a hearty breakfast is the secret to losing weight

The results of a study that lasted for seven years suggest that the key to a Healthy weight is in making breakfast the biggest meal of the day .

According to Simmons College nutrition professor in the United States, Rachele Pojednic, Ph.D, the main fuel for the brain is glucose , which is obtained by eating food, predominantly high in carbohydrates, but if the brain's glucose supply is cut off, it will cause blood sugar fall, making one feel tired, irritable and unable to concentrate.

S However, the mood and efficiency of work is not the only reason why it is advisable to stick to a regular daily eating schedule.Fasting only means that the body gets excited when it is finally given some food, making the metabolism slow and then the body stores everything as fat, because it doesn't know when it will be the next time it gets the energy it needs to function.

This has been confirmed by the recent study, where more than 50,000 people over 30 years old from the U.S.and Canada participated.Participants were monitored in health surveys and the data were analyzed by researchers from the Loma Linda University, California.

The study found that not skipping breakfast, and making it a good size, is directly associated with a decrease in body mass index .

Eating a hearty breakfast can help you lose weight, according to science

The decrease was significant compared to those whose dinner was the biggest meal of the day.

It is worth saying that the Body Mass Index (BMI) is not the best measure of weight, or health, but other studies have suggested that skipping meals it's bad for waist size and overall health.

A hearty breakfast means that the person will be less likely to want a "snack" between meals , and will make it adhere to an adequate meal plan.

The study also found a link between meal times and a decrease in BMI.

The investigation concluded that the appropriate fasts between meals , between five to six hours between breakfast and lunch, and 18 hours between dinner and the next breakfast, help decrease BMI.

Q What do you think about the findings of these researchers? Do you usually have breakfast a lot?
