The "electric wind" LETAL that sweeps the planets

Hi Science Daily Online ! Before reading the article we would like you to know a new way to discover our curious world, through Youtube ! We have a channel that we would love to be part of.You can subscribe and get to know it here-> Science Daily Online YouTube!

NASA has reported that an "electric wind" could strip planets similar to the Land of the oceans and atmosphere. The statement came after it was discovered that the planet Venus suffers the effects of a force, a "space wind" that is strong enough to eliminate the components of water from its upper atmosphere. Scientists believe that this factor may have played a key role in the destruction of the planet's oceans.

The electric wind LETAL that devastates the planets

The new results of the Venus Express mission of the European Space Agency (ESA), which were funded by NASA have been described as "incredible" and "shocking".Glyn Collinson from the Center NASA's Goddard Space Flight in Greenbelt, Maryland, said that the scientists never thought that an "electric wind" could be so powerful as to be able to aspirate oxygen from the atmosphere into space. He is the lead author of the study, which was published in Geophysical magazine Research Letters.

Venus is the most Earth-like planet in our Solar System and there is evidence that the planet had oceans in the distant past.

The

However, its surface temperatures of 460º C finally reduced all of its oceans to steam and became the uninhabitable planet we know today .The vapor dissociated hydrogen and oxygen. The hydrogen escaped, while the oxygen oxidized rocks for billions of years.

«We have found that the electric wind, which people considered only a small piece of a large machine is, in fact, this great monster capable of sucking the water of Venus on its own »-Collinson said in a NASA statement.

All planets count with an electric field, which is usually very weak and whose strength depends a lot on space weather, solar phenomena..., which affects them in such a way that they can modify their magnetic field and even their atmosphere.Curiously, the electric force of this field has an opposite effect to gravity. While it attracts the atmosphere to the planet, the electricity repels it and moves away. And you know what? On Venus, the electric field-which was discovered using NASA's electron spectrometer, SwRI-UCL,-is much more powerful than Earth's, in fact it is 5 times more.

Scientists They explained that when the water molecules rise in the upper atmosphere, sunlight breaks down into hydrogen ions that easily escape. The electric field ends up expelling the heaviest oxygen ions.If the electric field is very strong and repels these ions, moving them outward, there is no way that the water stays on the planet! The "electric wind" is then the planet's own electric field, which for some reason unknown, is very powerful on Venus.

The researchers believe that this phenomenon will help to understand how this process works universal, which has resulted in murder, the desertification of Venus. In addition, it is speculated that as the planets have a gravity field, they also gain in an electric field that always tries to push the upper layers of the atmosphere in space.

The strength of the electric field, that "lethal wind" could be basic to help astronomers improve their estimates of the location and size of the habitable areas around different stars. There are stars that emit even more ultraviolet light than our essential Sun.This feature is It supposes that it would provoke the existence of more powerful electric winds and, therefore, threaten the atmospheres of planets that according to our estimates could someday harbor life.

The mystery of prehistoric giant mushrooms

Imagine a primitive scenario , halfway between fantasy and mystery. It is a time where Earth has only two continents: Euramerica , to the north, and Gondwana , to the south.Imagine now that you are walking on a soil almost devoid of vegetation, there are hardly any plants, and your steps explode in the thicket of a rocky stage, where they stand... The authentic giants of the Earth: the prototaxites. These giant mushrooms were like strange mastiffs that could reach almost 8 meters. The higher the height, the greater the possibility of escaping their spores, and hence their sovereignty In these scenarios of Silurico and Devonico , almost 420 million years ago... But, what were they? Trees, bushes? ...The prototaxites were fungi. If you have felt a chill or have been stung by curiosity, do not hesitate to know more about these creatures worthy of appearing in the "Lost World" of Jules Verne. The Tutankhamun dagger made with NOT terrestrial material

Since the discovery of his tomb in 1922 he has not stopped surprising us, and now more, that Tutankhamun's dagger finally has an explanation.Read on to discover this very interesting story, which has nothing to do with Martians or beings of other worlds. Tutankhamun's dagger made with non-terrestrial material In an earlier article we talked about some of the most valuable objects found in the tomb of this pharaoh, which Kingdom in Egypt from 1336 to 1327 BC Among the numerous objects, made of finely worked gold, ivory or wood, Howard Carter and Lord Carnarvon came across two daggers placed on the body of the pharaoh child.there was no problem if both struts had been manufactured with common materials, but one of them was made of iron . You will think that iron is not unusual; and of course not, only that in ancient Egypt the objects made with this metal were very rare and very few, because this civilization, despite all its advances, did not handle iron technology, a...

Did the human being arrive 22,000 years ago in America?

With America and its past before calling itself that, instead of Colombia or Columbia, the doubts, the statements that contradict and a continuing doubt about their origins follow. As we all know, Colon was not the first foreigner to arrive at this continent, but neither were the Vikings, nor the Chinese, although perhaps if the Polynesians.Something similar happens with their original settlement, with whom they were the first inhabitants of the New World that, for several theories, has not turned out to be so new. The traditional theory of occupation of the continent The classic and most accepted theory until the beginning of the new millennium is that human beings entered America through of the Bering Strait , the point where Alaska and Asia are closest (80km) and that in the last glaciation I have the land exposed and as a bridge between both continents for a sufficiently long period as to allow the passage of several waves of human groups from Siberia and eastern Asia . ...

Why do you get nervous? Discover it and face it!

Nervous sensations are actually very useful. They go back thousands of years ago, at a time when most of what humans did not know, did not understand or could not predict, literally, that I could kill them .If the first humans were brave enough to walk on a meadow of unknown grass, for example, they could end up becoming the dinner of some wild animal that was on the prowl. So, get nervous in that situation , it was normal, and also necessary to be alert. Why do you get nervous? Discover it and face it! So humans and other animals developed a fear built into the unknown. In a dangerous, uncertain world, it was very useful for the first human beings to be able to react to danger quickly and effectively .This response to fear was connected to the nervous system. It was designed to give a great deal of strength, intelligence, and speed. When the first humans faced dangerous wild animals For example, the fear response helped them run and hide.It also helped them find strength, even to ki...

Do you want me to fall in love with you? Science advises you

There are countless studies related to human relations. The universities of Berkeley, Yale or Harvard have numerous investigations that try to clarify one of the greatest mysteries of the human species; the rules of attraction. We get ahead a little, however, because we have for you a series of recommendations that come from different studies and that will be perfect for the purpose of your dreams fall in love with you. Do you want me to fall in love with you? Here comes the first tips .To start, talk to that person and share time with him.Logical, right? Yes, but look at those moments that are believed to be the typical "internal jokes", those funny memories shared, that will make your bond much narrower. This fact was proven by a study from the University of Texas. More logical tips? Find time alone and physical contact. The latter, always with delicacy and without being heavy.Short and not overly suggestive contacts, in moments of complicity, can be essential to...

6 ocean mysteries hidden underwater

Without a doubt, one of the most intriguing places in the world is the ocean. It is so large and deep and has so many interesting things to discover underwater, where the human being is not able to reach by his own means and needs the help of technology to discover the mysteries of the ocean. 6 mysteries of the ocean hidden underwater 1.Most of the ocean remains unexplored Marine biologists use satellites, radars and math to map the percentage of how much the ocean has explored, however, marine biologist John Copley believes that less than 5% of the entire ocean This is what has been explored in reality.Even when they try to look for shipwrecks or airplanes that have fallen into the water, they barely travel less than 1%. Many years can go by and they spend a lot of money, and not all of them are still known exactly mysteries that hides . 2.Atlantis: Reality or fiction? At least sometime in our lives we have heard about Atlantis, the lost city. Some theories say that it ...

Do you know how long ago HIV exists? Will horrify you

Although HIV made its spectacular appearance in the early 80s of the last century, it was years before the origin of this retrovirus could be determined, and in the meantime there was a debate about whether it was a natural disease or rather, a human invention, in the style of Frankenstein, a virus escaped from laboratories where biological weapons were developed. Today it is known that it is a natural disease, not less deadly, considering that There are about 35 million infected in the world and 2 million more are infected annually. However, one question has persisted: how long does HIV exist, and apparently we already have an answer. Do you know? How long has HIV been there? It will horrify you Although AIDS was identified in the 80s, researchers today believe that the disease arose in equatorial Africa, where several strains of this retrovirus affected different species of chimpanzees and cercocebus ( gray mangabey ); happening in two or three occasions to the human beings (t...

A new way of life in Antarctica!

In 2016, Sergei Bulat, head of the cryobiology laboratory at the University of Nuclear Physics in St.Petersburg, announced the discovery of a new way of life in Antarctica: a bacterium found in a subglacial lake that could be accessed after drill four kilometers of ice. A new way of life in Antarctica! With 14 million square kilometers, in which the surface of Spain would fit about 28 times, and 10% of the earth's surface , covered by 90% of the planet's fresh water, mostly frozen , and large areas still unexplored, the discovery should not be a novelty of a new way of life in the form of bacteria; well, there are still hundreds, perhaps thousands of unidentified or classified microscopic species, in other less desolate corners and ends of the Earth. However, there are a couple of details that make special w123-10 , as this new member of the catalog of terrestrial life was baptized: the first is that only 86% of its genome is similar to the rest of the known organism...
