Russian scientists warned of a strong flood that struck the Earth around year 2050 , the consequences of this phenomenon can be truly devastating.

A universal flood?

A group of Russian scientists has ensured that a strong flood will strike the Earth in the year 2050. Alexander Danilov , deputy director of the Institute of Scientific Research of the Arctic and Antarctic, explains that this phenomenon will result in the low and coastal territories of Australia, Europe, the eastern coast of the United States and Latin America are below sea level.

The main reason of this phenomenon is the climate change , which results in the progressive sea level rise, which can increase significantly in the coming years.

Experts explain that sea level could increase dramatically by 5 meters until 2050, that situation combined with a great flood could be catastrophic for a large part of the world population.

Natalia Riazanova , president of the Geoecology Laboratory of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) explains:

“These five meters up the ocean must be a very serious sign that the giant lowlands where you live actually most of the planet's population will be in flood zones ”

Terrible consequences

A large part of the world population lives towards the shores of their respective countries , as is the case in Australia, where almost 80% of the p oblacion lives in very vulnerable areas in a situation similar to that posed by this group of scientists.
