Professor Adrian North of Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, United Kingdom, conducted a study in which more than 36,000 people from all over the world.I tried to figure out if it was possible to say that musical tastes and personality were closely related.

The participants, who belonged to 60 different countries, were given a wide range of musical styles (104) that they had to sort according to their preferences.At the same time they had a personality test.The results of the study were that:
Lovers of Jazz used to have high self-esteem, they were creative, outgoing and intelligent, qualities they shared with those who liked classical music.
Lovers of Blues were creative, extro poured, peaceful and quiet.
Fans of Rap, high self-esteem and extroversion.
Fans of the Opera were creative, kind and had high self-esteem.

Country, hardworking and outgoing fans.
Lovers of Reggae, very hardworking, kind, sociable, creative, with high self-esteem and quiet .
Fans of Dance were creative, outgoing but not especially friendly.
Music fans Indie had lower self-esteem, were creative and were not too hardworking or friendly.

Fans of music type B ollywood were creative and outgoing.
The followers of Rock or Heavy Metal were creative, not too hardworking, introverted, friendly and had low self-esteem.
Lovers of Pop had high self-esteem, were very hardworking, sociable and kind, although they were not creative.

Soul fans were creative, outgoing, had high self-esteem and were kind and peaceful.
