While it is true that today the presence of drones in our lives is almost inevitable, there are few who have gotten used to them. Those small unmanned aircraft are usually discreet spies that fly over our cities and our fields, in order to obtain certain information with which, "supposedly", make our lives easier.
They are good in agriculture, to monitor the state of the fields, are very useful in architectural tasks, traffic surveillance and are, as you know, those allies in military tasks where ethics and personal privacy come into play.
The protagonist of this story, an enraged chimpance of a Dutch zoo who saw with annoying annoyance, as a strange flying artifact broke into his territory, thought the same. Was it introduced into your life? What was that deformed being that clouded his tranquility? The video of what happened recently became something viral, and we then explain.
Out of my territory!
We are in a beautiful Dutch zoo called Burger´s Zoo.A facility that has more than 100 years old, and where animals enjoy large hectares where they can live, where they can bathe, interact with their relatives and breathe a calm tranquility without seeing excessive bars around it.Given the great extent of the areas where there is each species, it is common for this zoo to use drones for surveillance, and also for the study of each animal.
The This morning's idea was to continue with the surveillance of the chimpanzee enclosure to know more about them, to understand how they related, what hierarchies were formed...When suddenly, and unexpectedly, they found such valuable information as fortuitous and violent. One of the chimpanzees had already seen the annoying drone fly over his territory .the leader of the group, that proud and enraged "alpha" male who was not going to allow that intruder to continue bothering them with his presence. And what did our protagonist do? Take a good stick, get on the highest tree and from there... Knock down the drone!
An excellent and effective planning, with a weapon included that allowed him to have an absolute success. That morning, despite losing the drone, the biologists obtained some wonderful images that showed them a Once again, the character and intelligence of the chimpanzees. When the drone was shot down, our protagonist did not hesitate to approach "inspect" the intruder , and once he could verify that the strange being was not moved or bothered more, he left with great tranquility. Objective fulfilled.
Point out that this is not the only fun and fatal experience for drones in their surveillance of animals.Youtube usually gives us fantastic videos where we see the moments prior to the destruction of these spy intruders by the always wonderful animals. Here we leave you another video where you will see an eagle knocking down a drone in the town of Cambridge, Massachusetts. Wonderful!
