NASA has an ambitious project that consists of making Mars a habitable planet for human beings.The project in question was discussed by the Division of Planetary Sciences in Washington.Alli explained that the idea arose from the premise that the red planet had in the past a magnetic field that protected its atmosphere .

Mars seems to be a cold and arid planet; however, scientists believe that in the past its atmosphere was much denser and as a consequence it had deep oceans and a much warmer climate, fundamental characteristics for that the place was habitable.

Experts explain that any change when the planet lost its protective field about a thousand years ago.In this sense, NASA proposes a way to give Mars a dense return atmosphere. It consists of launching a powerful magnetic shield that covers the planet, which will allow the atmosphere to become denser and gradually improve the internal conditions in the future to make the place habitable.
