A surreal scenario: the Mutnovsky cave
We will start talking about the true owner and lord of this place: the Mutnovsky volcano.and that it is one of the most active and destructive of Kamchatka, and that its last eruption occurred in the year 2000.If it is impressive to see its volcano it is even more to see what extends under it, which is neither more nor less than a vast valley of geysers .
It is also worth noting an important detail. This hot spring is making the roof of the cave increasingly thinner, which, the sunlight can pass through it and create these amazing light games, and it is also the sun that sometimes acts as a capricious sculptor, hence the subtle originality of these walls that actually go changing year to year.
They are authentic ice sculptures that attract the attention of tourists, curious and especially many photographers, as is the case of Michael Zelensky , An authentic adventurer and renowned image specialist, who obtained these incredible photographs that you can see.To do this, he used three sources of light: a torch, the flash, and later, the natural sunlight itself through the ice.Just have a little patience and wait for the miracle to be done.
