Do you want to have lucid dreams? A study explains how to get it

Who has not imagined to control what it sounds ? Taking the course and taking the dream where you want it is what, apparently, people who have lucid dreams can do.A recent study explains that there are guidelines and techniques that can be followed to get to have that kind of dreams , do you accompany us to find out how to have lucid dreams?

The study that explains how to get lucid dreams

The lucid dream is one in which the sleeper becomes aware that he is playing while he is still in that process and has the ability to control that experience .It can happen at the moment we go from wakefulness to sleep, and we know that we are ringing for the bodily sensations we have, or during the dream itself. In the latter case, for some reason we "wake up" within the dream and have the option to follow inside or really wake up.

Psychologists believe that the health of some of their patients could improve if they could take the reins of your dreams .For years there have been studies to try to achieve it, but the success rates have been very low.The psychology department of the University of Adelaide in Australia believes to have found some guidelines that will make it easier to have lucid dreams , which is the first stage to control what we sound.

With a group of 47 volunteers they tried 3 different techniques to have lucid dreams :

1.The first technique was called "Reality test" and was to ask yourself several times a day if they were ringing or not, to make the person internalize the question.

2.In the second one it was about waking up after 5 hours of sleep , staying awake for a few minutes and go back to sleep .The purpose was to achieve a REM sleep period , since it is easier to sound in it.

3.The third one was called MILD (mnemonic induction of lucid dreams), mnemonic induction of lucid dreams) and had to proceed as in technique 2: sleep five hours, wake up and also when returning to reconcile the dream they should repeat the phrase «The next time it is ringing, I will remember that I am ringing» and they should imagine themselves having a lucid dream .

What were the results? The volunteers combined the 3 techniques and obtained 17% more than one week success when trying to have a lucid dream that in the previous week, in which they had not used any technique. The amazing thing came to see that, those participants who when using the third technique had slept during the 5 minutes after having woken up, they got a lucid dream in 46% of the cases.Awesome!

Dr.Aspy who worked on this research affirmed that This was due to the "prospective memory" , that is, the ability we have to "remember to do things in the future." Repeating the phrase creates the mind's intention to remember that we are ringing and this facilitates the awakening in the form of lucid dream.
