The electromagnetic spectrum refers to the waves that make up the light and propagate at a speed of almost 300,000 kilometers per second.Colors are actually different wavelengths, which is the distance between the corresponding parts of two waves.
However, the human We can only distinguish a part of this electromagnetic spectrum, the so-called visible spectrum , that is, the colors that range from 400 nm to 700 nm and that are represented in the rainbow.The light wave we discern is the color red and the shortest is violet.
On the other hand, objects show a different color depending on how they reflect the light.The sun's rays contain all the colors and the sum of all of them is white light.When an object is white, it means that does not absorb any color and reflects all colors, while if it is black, attracts all colors and does not reflect anything.
