Can you see it or NOT?!, Others are absolute emptinesses and of some we can learn really interesting concepts. This is the case of this image that has revolutionized the Internet.Do you know what it is? We'll tell you!
The image that has revolutionized the Internet
Possibly the revolution is due to the phallic form of the element of the image. The photograph was taken by a team of Australian researchers who work for the Victoria Museums, a group of state museums that are based in different cities in Australia. a multitude of assumptions about what the strange being was and they thought it could be from a asparagus or a cucumber to a phallus .

The «element »From the photo was ha Lined by scientists in Australian waters at 4,000 meters deep .Actually, and despite its curious shape, it is a worm known as a "peanut worm" The peanut worm (or peanut worms in English) has a scientific name: Sipuncula and is a type of marine animal, celomated protostome, of non-segmented body and that has almost 300 species .

Sipunculids are quite common animals that live in all depths . The species of the image is abyssal , but other species can be found in shallow water. They do not usually measure more than 10 cm .They are called a peanut worm because their body is very muscularized what they it allows to shrink to a figure similar to that of a peanut.
These researchers from the Victoria Museums have also photographed other curious abyssal specimens:

The one in this picture is a « faceless fish », its existence was known since 1873, the year in which a scientific expedition he discovered it in waters of what is now Papua New Guinea.Since then they had not heard from him again .The fish really has no eyes , since at depths in the lives are not necessary and the mouth is hidden in the lower part of the head.

In this image we see several specimens of abyssal carnivorous sponges .They were found by the same group of Victoria Museums. They were trapped in their nets in the eastern abyssal area of Australia. They measure between 5 and 15 cm.and they are micro predators .These sponges show some thorns where small crustaceans get hooked as if it is a velcro.Once caught, they are slowly digested by the sponge.
The abyssal world is full of fantastic creatures and sometimes curious aspect .Hopefully the Victoria Museum researchers will continue to show us more incredible images of their discoveries.
